Visual Envelope

The limit of the visual impact study is the maximum extent of the Visual Envelope (zone of visual influence) of the works during the construction phase and operation/restoration and aftercare phases. The Visual Envelope will vary during the life of the Extension. The Visual Envelope during the construction phase will reflect the extent of progressive clearance of vegetation and topsoil at the existing SENT Landfill. As the Extension fills during the operational/restoration phase and rises in height, the extent of the Visual Envelope will increase.
