ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING AND AUDIT (EM&A)

	Regular monitoring of landfill gas within the Extension and the Extension boundary as required by the Contract Specification.	Monitoring at LFG well
	Weekly or monthly monitoring of landfill gas at the perimeter landfill gas monitoring wells during the operation and restoration of the Extension.
	Monthly monitoring at all perimeter wells during the aftercare phase.
	Quarterly bulk gas analysis for at least 2 of the perimeter wells throughout landfill operation, restoration and aftercare.
	Monthly monitoring of service voids along the Site boundary and within the Extension Site throughout landfill operation, restoration and aftercare.
	Surface monitoring of methane gas throughout the operation, restoration and aftercare phases.
	Action will be taken if abnormal level of landfill gas is detected.
