Source of Noise Impact during Construction / Restoration Phase

	The use of Powered Mechanical Equipment (PME) for foundation and building structure construction, demolition of existing structures, site formation and installation of liner, capping and landscaping, construction of permanent gas well.
	The normal working hours of the Contractor will be between 07:00 and 19:00 hours from Monday to Saturday (except public holidays). Construction outside these hours or on public holidays will require a Construction Noise Permit (CNP) application.

Source of Noise Impact during Operation Phase

	The use of PME for landfilling operations including deposition and compaction of waste, placement and removal of daily and intermediate cover.
	Fixed Plant Operation including 24-hour operation of the new leachate treatment plant (LTP) and landfill gas treatment plant.
	Road Traffic Noise from trucks transporting landfill waste.
