Mitigation Measures

Archaeology

Impact assessment indicates that the potential to identify impacted in situ archaeological deposits is very low.  However, the chance of discovery of low significance secondary deposits cannot be ruled out.  Pursuant to the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance, the construction contractor should inform the AMO immediately in case of discovery of antiquities or supposed antiquities in the course of soil excavation works in construction stage.

Built Heritage
No direct or indirect impacts on the identified built heritage sites are anticipated due to their large separation distance from the Project Site, no mitigation measures are considered necessary.

Residual Impact
Since no impacts on identified built heritage and in situ archaeological resources are identified, no mitigation measures are required and thus there will be no residual impact.
