In accordance with the requirements stated in Section 3.4.3.1 of the EIA Study Brief, the Study Area for the noise impact assessment covered an area of 300m from the Project Site boundary. Only the first layer of NSRs located along the Project Site boundary was included in the assessment as the NSRs behind were located further away from the road and were screened. Background noise measurement results indicated that the prevailing noise level in the Study Area ranges from 54 dB(A) to 59 dB(A) during daytime and evening time and 49 dB(A) to 54 dB(A) during night-time.
