Water Quality

	Introduction
	The modification works and operation of the CPSC have the potential to cause adverse water quality impacts if not properly managed. Potential impacts on the nearby water resources could result from discharge of wastewater and surface runoff during the modification works as well as from the operation of the facilities. The assessment of potential water quality impacts has been undertaken in line with the guidelines and general criteria of Annexes 6 and 14 of the EIAO and the EIAO-TM.
