A landscape and visual impacts assessment (LVIA) has been carried out for the Project including both construction and operation phases.
The limit of the landscape impact study area is 500m beyond the limit of the project site boundary. Baseline landscape resources (LRs) and landscape character areas (LCAs) have been identified and their sensitivity assessed. A visual envelope for the Project has also been constructed, indicating areas from where the project will be visible. Within this envelope, and following site inspections, Visually Sensitive Receivers (VSRs) have been identified and their sensitivity assessed. Sensitivity of LRs/LCAs and VSRs has been done in accordance with EIAO Guidance Note 8/2002.

Visual Envelope
The limit of the visual impact study is the maximum extent of the Visual Envelope (zone of visual influence) of the works during the construction and operation phases. The maps show the extent of the Primary Visual Envelope.
Visual Sensitive Receivers (VSRs)
Visually Sensitive Receivers (VSRs) within the Visual Envelope at construction and operation phases have been identified. These are the people who reside within, work within, play within, or travel through, the Visual Envelope and their locations are shown on the map.
