Application for Approval to Apply Directly for an Environmental Permit
(Application No.: DIR-064/2002)
Project Title: "Birds Paradise" Refreshment Kiosk in Tsim Bei Tsui
Conditions Imposed under Sections 5(12) of the EIA Ordinance
for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit
1. No barbecue or bon-fire shall be conducted on-site.
2. No strobe lights and flashing display shall be installed or used on-site
3. No karaoke equipment, loud hailer or any equipment with amplifier function shall be installed or used on-site.
4. The maximum number of visitors to be allowed on-site during operation shall not exceed 150 persons.
5. Fire breaks of at least 2m wide and/or perimeter U-channels of at least 300mm wide around the application site shall be maintained at all time to prevent possible threat of hill fire.
6. No operation shall take place on-site between 19:00 hr -07:00 hr.
7. No activities that may cause unacceptable environmental disturbance shall be allowed on-site.
8. All measures described in the Project Profile submitted by the Applicant on 21st February, 2002 together with those requirements mentioned in the above conditions, shall be fully implemented.
Note:
Under section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the Applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of receipt of the notice of the Director's decision.
