Project Title: Upgrading of Quarantine Stables for the 2008 Olympics Equestrian Event

Conditions Imposed under section 5(12) of the Ordinance

For Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

1. All environmental mitigation measures described in the Project Profile submitted with the Application No. DIR-147/2007 on 21 February 2007 shall be fully implemented.

2. The colour scheme for the roof top of stables shall be subdue and non-reflective to blend in with the surrounding environment.

3. The applicant shall submit three sets of landscaping plan for approval by the Director 3 months prior to commencement of construction of the project.

Note:

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
