Application for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

Project Title: Lamma Power Station –

Unit L2 Flue Gas Desulphurization Plant Retrofit Project

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the EIA Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

1. All measures described in the Project Profile submitted by the Applicant on 24 July 2007 shall be fully implemented; and

2. Low-NOx burners in accordance with the information described in the Project Profile shall be installed and operated at the coal-fired Units L4 and L5 in the Lamma Power Station on or before operation of the Project.

Note

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against any of the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
