Mitigation Measure Used:

• Due to either erosion or mangrove encroachment, the loss of habitat on the intertidal mudflat is unavoidable. The construction of polders was thus proposed for the disposal of mud, which can provide wildlife habitat including suitable feeding areas for waterfowl and areas for mangrove establishment.
