(a) Statement of exceedance

The DO level at Station W1 did not complied with the Compliance level.

(b) Causes of exceedance

According to our field observation, the non-compliance was due to natural fluctuation of water quality at Kam Tin River but not due to the project because of the following reasons:-

· There was no construction activity adjacent to the station during monitoring.

· The measured DO level was within the range recorded in the baseline monitoring, i.e. 2.2 to 9.4mg/L
