	Follow up Observations

1.	The Contractor had applied for the Water Discharge License. The approval was awaited.

2.	The Contractor was reminded to provide bunding/preventive measures along the trapezoidal channel to prevent waste/waste water from entering the drainage system.

3.	Water pondings were found in the construction area near the sorting plant and at the open area of Area A. The Contractor was reminded to fill the areas or remove the stagnant water.

4.	Fugitive dust was observed during sorting activities at Area A. The Contractor was reminded to implement sufficient dust suppression measures during dusty operation.

5.	Stagnant water was found inside u-channel at area B2 and the trapezoidal channel. The Contractor was reminded to clear the stagnant water.

6.	Paint buckets placed on bare ground had been removed.



	New Observation

7.	An open hole was found on drip tray for generator set at the sorting plant. The Contractor was reminded to seal the hole on drip tray.

	Follow up Observations

1.	The Contractor had applied for the Water Discharge License. The approval was awaited.

2.	Rubbish was found runoff into the trapezoidal channel. The Contractor was reminded to provide bunding/preventive measures along the trapezoidal channel to prevent waste/waste water from entering the drainage system.

3.	Water ponding at the open area of Area A had been removed. Water ponding was still found in the construction area near the sorting plant. The Contractor was reminded to fill the area or remove the stagnant water.

4.	Water sprinklers were in operation at the tipping hall. Fugitive dust was observed along the haul road and during sorting activities at the open area of Area A. The Contractor was reminded to increase the frequency of dampening the haul road and implement sufficient dust suppression measures during dusty operation.

5.	Small amount of rubbish and stagnant water was found inside u-channel at area B2 and the trapezoidal channel. The Contractor was reminded to clear the stagnant water and the rubbish.

6.	Drip tray with an open hole near the sorting plant had been replaced.



	New Observation

7.	Some waste oil drums and oil buckets were found placed on bareground near the tipping hall. The Contractor was reminded to remove the chemical containers or store the chemicals in the chemical storage.

2.	Rubbish in the trapezoidal channel had been cleared. The Contractor was reminded to provide bunding/preventive measures along the trapezoidal channel to prevent waste/waste water from entering the drainage system.

3.	Water ponding in the construction area near the sorting plant had been removed.

4.	Fugitive dust was observed along the haul road in Area A and B2 and during sorting activities at the open area of Area A. The Contractor advised that 2 water trucks were deployed for dampening the haul road. The Contractor was still reminded to increase the frequency of dampening the haul road and implement sufficient dust suppression measures during dusty operation.

5.	Rubbish inside the u-channel at area B2 had been cleared. However, silty material was still found inside the u-channel at area B2 and stagnant water was found in the trapezoidal channel. The Contractor was reminded to clear the stagnant water and the silty material.

6.	Waste oil drums and oil buckets near the tipping hall had been removed.



	New Observation

7.	Stockpiles of general refuse / collected waste were found at Area B1 near the Contractor’s site office. The Contractor was reminded to fence off the waste collection area at Area B1.

8.	Two excavators operating in Area A were found with the flap/cover opened. The Contractor was reminded to close the flap of all plants on site during operation.

3.	Fugitive dust was not observed along the haul road in Area A and B2. However, fugitive dust was observed during sorting activities at the open area of Area A and during concrete breaking near the tipping hall. The Contractor was reminded to implement sufficient dust suppression measures during dusty operation.

4.	Clearing of silty material inside the u-channel at area B2 was observed. Stagnant water was still found in the trapezoidal channel. The Contractor was reminded to clear the stagnant water in the trapezoidal channel.

5.	Stockpiles of general refuse / collected waste at Area B1 near the Contractor’s site office had been removed.

6.	One breaker was found operating in Area A without the cover. The Contractor was reminded to provide cover to all plants on site during operation.



	New Observation

7.	Dark smoke was found emitted from a Loader operating at Area A. The Contractor was reminded to well maintain the on site equipment.
