for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit
1. All environmental mitigation measures described in the Project Profile submitted by the Application on 3 October 2005 shall be fully implemented.
2. No dredging works shall be carried out for the project.
3. No tree felling shall be carried out for the project.
4. No site formation works shall be carried out for the construction of the compressor house.
5. The compressor house shall be a fully enclosed design to minimize potential noise disturbance to surrounding environment during operation.
6. The Applicant shall submit to the Director for approval at least one month before commencement of construction a landscape plan showing the colour scheme of the compressor house and on-ground air dosing pipe for matching with the surrounding environment and the details of the new trees planting outside the compressor house.
Note :
Under section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the Applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
