Application for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

Project: Desilting Works at Hung Shui Kiu Channel, Tuen Mun

Conditions Imposed under Section 5(12) of the EIA Ordinance

for Permission to Apply Directly for Environmental Permit

1. All measures described in the Project Profile (No. PP-402/2009) received from the applicant on 17 November 2009 shall be fully implemented.

2. No haul road shall be constructed for the Project.

3. An agreement on the disposal method(s) shall be made with the relevant authority and reported to the Director before the construction of the Project.

Note

Under Section 17 of the EIA Ordinance, the applicant may appeal to the Appeal Board against the above conditions within 30 days of the receipt of this notice of the Director’s decision.
