Condition of Approval under Section 8(3) of the EIA Ordinance (the Ordinance)

The EIA Report as exhibited under Section 7(1) of the Ordinance is approved by the Director on the conditions that the following amendments shall be incorporated into the EIA report and the Executive Summary, and shall form part of the approved EIA Report :

1. The EM&A programme shall be reviewed :

- to include monitoring of coral community along coastline of Hei Ling Chau;

- to increase the frequency of bird collision monitoring;

- to carry out on-going searches of Bodagek’s Burrowing Lizard during construction phase; and

- to explore the possibility of setting up on-site monitoring webcams.

2. The two Golden Eulophia located to the west of the Project site as shown in Figure 5.7f of the EIA Report shall be fenced off to minimize human disturbance during construction phase of the Project.
