Cooperation with Overseas Authorities
EPD attaches importance to building up close cooperation with intelligence networks and sources. Internationally, EPD has established close working relationship with overseas competent authorities. We have direct intelligence link with control authorities of Hong Kong's major trade partners (including the U.S., the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the U.K., Canada, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore and Thailand) to effect exchange of intelligence and to take swift enforcement action in respective jurisdictions.
