EcoPark
Operation and Management
The Environmental Protection Department has appointed through open tender a management contractor (the Operator) to act as Government's agent to manage and maintain the EcoPark common infrastructure and facilities. The Operator is responsible for providing the tenants the following core and non-core services:
Core Services
- Provide day-to-day management of the EcoPark
- Maintain and allocate the use of common facilities (e.g. Administration Building, marine frontage, weighbridge, etc.)
- Monitor environmental performance of tenants to ensure compliance with Environmental Permit conditions
- Provide assistance for promotion of the recycling businesses of the EcoPark tenants
Examples of Non-Core Services
- Joint purchasing
- Environmental and occupation health and safety training
- Consultancy services on licence/permit applications
- Waste exchange programmes
- Shuttle bus service
