Small Works Green Environmental Management Workshop (2016)

The Workshop was held on 26 April 2016 at the 4/F, Conference Hall of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, with the support of the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), for the small works contractors and the property management trade. It aimed to share the relevant experiences from professionals, including those speakers from the supporting organizations, on environmental protection and foster good environmental management practices for small works.
The workshop featured 5 professional talks: HKCA - Innovative Environmental Practices for Construction Works, HKIS - Efforts to Prevent Water Pollution under the Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme, EPD - Good Environmental Management for Small Works and Property Renovation, Best Practices for Construction Waste and Lead Acid Battery Disposal, and Regulatory Control on Environmental Asbestos. The Workshop was highly successful, attracting more than 140 participants and fostering constructive exchanges. |
