On 12th January and 23rd February 2001, two identical sessions of a seminar entitled "How Vehicle Repair Workshops can comply with Environmental Legislations" were held at the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). In the seminar, EPD representatives explained on the environmental legislations, HKPC representatives talked about technologies for environmental protection, and representatives of the Hong Kong Vehicle Repair Merchants Association shared on good management practices for vehicle repair workshops. A total of 147 operators attended the seminar. In the seminar, participants actively joined in discussions and shared their experience in environmental protection.
