Model of a Vehicle Repair Workshop Fitted with Environmentally Friendly Facilities

To promote environmental practices for vehicle repair workshops, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD), with assistance from the trade, developed a Green Garage Model incorporating environmental protection facilities.

The model exhibits the usual environmental protection facilities and serves as a reference for the trade for the design of vehicle repair workshops.

Apart from serving as a reference for the trade and promoting the environmental awareness of trade practitioners, the model also has educational purposes for the general public and enables them to understand the environmental aspect of the vehicle repair workshop trade.

The mdoel was displayed at the International Trade Fair on Environmental Protection 2006 held during 27-30 October, 2006.
