• The Seminar for 2009-2011 Vehicle Repair Workshop Trade Environmental Ambassador and Trade Practitioners, co-organized by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD), the Hong Kong Vehicle Repair Merchants Association, the Environmental Vehicle Repairers Association and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee), was held at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee), 30 Renfew Road, Kowloon Tong on 28th Aug 2009.

• The aims of the seminar were to enhance the environmental awareness of the trade, and by presentations on various topics, uplift the professional knowledge of the trade and enable them to grasp the related environmental technologies. A total of 353 trade practitioners attended the seminar and awarded 2-hour continuous professional development certificates.

• The seminar comprised of 4 sessions:

  • Partnership Programme for the Vehicle Repair Workshop Trade and Assistance to the Trade to Improve Environmental Performance

  • "5S" System for Good Workshop Management for the Vehicle Repair Workshop Trade

    (Mr. S. W. Wong and Mr. F. W. Lee, Crown Motors Ltd.)

  • The Maintenance and Repair of Diesel Engine with Electronically Controlled Firing System
    (Mr. Mou, Cummins Inc.)
