Training Course on Environmental Protection for the Restaurant Trade (4th Session) – Visit to Food Factory of Sailing Boat Catering Management Limited

To promote the environmental awareness of the restaurant trade, EPD organized a visit to the food factory of the Sailing Boat Catering Management Limited under the "Helping the Restaurant Trade Environmental Programme". EPD wished the trade to absorb more information and knowledge in technology on the environmental protection via this visit.

EPD commissioned the Business Environment Council to implement the "Helping the Restaurant Trade Environmental Programme", with a view to promote the service to the trade and provide technical advices and guidance to help improve their environmental performance. The Programme provided several free training sessions for the trade, which were targeted at raising the environmental awareness of restaurant managerial and operating levels and enriching their knowledge in pollution control technologies and equipment.
