Restaurant Trade Visiting EcoPark
EPD organized a site visit for some 30 trade representatives from Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants and Related Trades (HKFORT), other restaurant associations and related stakeholders, to the EcoPark at Tuen Mun on 22 March 2011. To facilitate the restaurant trade to have a better understanding on resource recovery and recycling activities in Hong Kong, the trade representatives were introduced on the facilities and tenants' operations in the Ecopark, and guided tours to 2 of the tenants (including the used cooking oil recycling facility and plastic waste recycling centre) were arranged.
