Showa International (H.K.) Co., Limited, mainly handling the supply of various industrial components to customers worldwide, got ISO14001 certified in May, 2005. Since the establishment about 20 years ago, we persist in the corporate policy of pursuing harmonious co-existence with global environment whiling expanding our business. We also realized that it is very important to provide environmentally friendly products and services to our customers, in order to prevail in this increasingly competitive business world.
Two-year practices prove that we benefit a lot from ISO14001 certification. Firstly, the awareness of our employees on environmental preservation has been enhanced. The workplace always remains clean and tidy, thanks to 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) activities implemented companywide.
In addition to compliance with local legal requirement of HKSAR, we also try our best to satisfy our customers’ requirements on environment management, especially green procurement. We introduced XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) analyzer in our own factories in China, to strengthen the management of environmentally hazard substances used in products, through which we obtained favorable recognition and trust from our customers for our good performance.
Though our environment management system is still young, we will improve our system continually for better achievement and customer satisfaction.
