The Company is also committed to continual improvement of its environmental performance, recognizing its obligations both locally and globally, to the present and succeeding generations. We consider that environmental protection and management is an important consideration in our activities and commitment to this is reflected in corporate policies, procedures, programmes and practices.
In order to achieve these goals, the Company aspired working towards implementing health, safety and environmental management systems and complying with all aspects of the internationally-recognized certification systems OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. The systems provide guidance on how to manage the safety and environmental aspects of activities, services and operations more effectively, taking into consideration environmental protection, pollution prevention and socioeconomic needs. They also help the company to continually improve its ability to efficiently identify, minimize, prevent and manage safety and environmental impacts as it arises and therefore reducing risk.
Most importantly, through the implementation of the systems the staff not only strengthened their safety and environmental awareness, they are also proud of being a member of the Company and their morale and sense of belonging is also greatly enhanced.
