Sodexo Hong Kong is part of the Sodexo
Group, which was established in Marseilles, France in 1966.- Sodexo has been operating in Hong Kong for 16 years and provides food and facilities management services to over 63 clients utilising 850 employees nationally.
To minimize potential environmental impacts arising from its business activities within
Hong Kong, Sodexo has implemented of number of environmental initiatives. Theseinclude ISO14001 Environmental accreditation thru various sites, energy reductionprograms, waste management initiatives and sustainable policy and procedurewithin operating sites.
As a corporate citizen and part of a community with its clients, customers, employees,suppliers, shareholders and host countries, the Sodexo commitment is to Improve the Quality of Daily Life and contribute to the economic, social and environmental development of the cities, regions and countries in which we operate.
Our Environmental Policy
Sodexo Total Support Services recognizes and accepts its role as a responsible corporate citizen to respect the environment. Our aim is to be conscious of all environmental issues that arise from our operations and administration. We will strive for continual improvement in our environmental performance and will comply with all Environmental Laws, Regulations and other requirements that affect our business. Our main objectives are to
* Reduce, re-use and recycle our waste and packaging
* Improve the efficiency of energy usage.
* Implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) to the ISO 14001 standard in our business at selected sites.
* Implement initiatives developed as part of our Environmental Management System in selected sites.
Our customers and clients will be made aware of our initiatives and we will encourage them to help us achieve our environmental goals. This policy will be communicated to all employees and will be made available to the public. Regular management review will be used to manage and review our environmental performance. Our management and staff will be provided with all of the information and training required to accomplish the intent detailed in this policy.
