EastPoint's environmental system was implemented in early 2003 to address the increasing environmental concerns particularly in the area of waste reduction and recycling, energy saving and pollution prevention. The ISO14001 certification was achieved in July 2003. With the implementation of ISO14001 Environmental Management System, we have accomplished effectively with our planned targets upon energy saving, waste reduction and recycling and made the expectations on green environment a reality for our customers, tenants and employees.
With the tremendous support from our residents and staff, we had continually organized and participated various events to promote the awareness of environment protection in the community. In 2004, we are the first property management company in Hong Kong to initiate the CD Recycling Program - "Eco-Community - CD Recycling Program", with the help of Friends of Earth (HK).
