ThyssenKrupp Elevator (HK) Limited is a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG of Germany, the third-largest elevator company in the world and has a presence in more than 60 countries at over 800 locations. ThyssenKrupp Elevator (HK) Limited is a Registered Lift Contractor as well as a Registered Escalator Contractor with the Hong Kong Government and its principal businesses are the design, marketing, sales, installation, maintenance and repair of lifts and escalators in Hong Kong and Macau.
In view of regulatory requirements and the increasing social awareness to environmental issues, our Company has adopted an Environmental Management System since 2002 and we are among the few players in the industry to be certified to ISO14001. The implementation of the Environmental Management System has promoted our staff's awareness in environmental protection and has demonstrated to our customers and the general public our commitment in protecting the environment.
The success of the implementation of the Environmental Management System has been proved by a reduction in energy consumption and a reduction in the production of wastes in the past two years. We believe in the future our Company will continue to be benefited from the system.
