| The Eco Expo Asia 2014, jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council with co-organization by the Environment Bureau, will be held on 29 October to 1 November 2014 at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong. The Eco Expo Asia is a leading international trading platform showcasing the latest innovations in environmental products and services from around the world. This year’s expo features “Green Technologies: Green Building, Energy Saving and Waste Reduction” as a main theme, which has attracted over 290 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions. An Eco Asia Conference will also take place along side the expo from 29 – 31 October. This conference will focus on topics including “Waste Management & Recycling”, “Sustainable Energy & Energy Efficiency” as well as “Green Building”, with over 25 prominent experts in green-tech development from around the world as guest speakers. The expo will be open to the public on 1 November. Events scheduled for this public day include “Dialogue with Secretary for the Environment”, Test Drive / Test Ride of Electric Vehicles, green mart, fora and green workshops.
