Environmental Protection Ambassador Scheme for Property Management 2005/2006
Introduction
The "Environmental Protection Ambassador Scheme for Property Management 2005/2006" is organized by the Environmental Protection Department. The Scheme aims to enhance the environmental knowledge of the staff of property management companies and the resident representatives of housing estates through a series of training programmes. Participants can then apply the knowledge to their property management work for improving and protecting the environment. After attending the required numbers of sessions of the training programme, the participants will be appointed as an "Environmental Protection Ambassador for Property Management". Ambassadors will be awarded appointment certificates and encouraged to promote environmental protection at their housing estates.
Target groups
- Committee members of Incorporated Owners or Owners' Committees
- Members of Mutual Aid Committees
- People working in property management sector
Training Programme
Participants will be invited to attend various environmental training activities including:
- environmental seminars;
- sharing sessions;
- site visits to environmental facilities; and
- site visits to nature reserve areas.
Recognized Qualification
Participants who have attended 2 seminars and 1 site visit will be appointed as "Environmental Protection Ambassadors for Property Management" and awarded certificates. The Ambassadors will continue to promote environmental protection in the housing estates.
