Environmental Protection Ambassador Scheme for Property Management 2006/2007
Introduction
The "Environmental Protection Ambassador Scheme for Property Management" was launched since 2000. The target participants are the staff of property management companies and resident representatives of housing estates. A series of training programmes including seminars, sharing sessions and site visits will be provided to the participants to enhance their environmental knowledge and the trained participants are encouraged to apply such knowledge to their property management work or everyday life for improving and protecting the environment.
Target groups
- Committee members of Incorporated Owners or Owners' Committees
- Members of Mutual Aid Committees
- Persons working in property management sector
Training Programme
Participants will be invited to attend various environmental training activities including:
- environmental seminars;
- sharing sessions;
- site visits to environmental facilities; and
- site visits to nature reserve areas.
Highlights of training activities in the past year
Recognized Qualification
Participants who have attended 2 seminars and 2 site visits will be appointed as "Environmental Protection Ambassadors for Property Management" and awarded certificates. The Ambassadors will shoulder their responsibilities to continue the promotion of environmental protection in their estates.

Participants will be given an environmental quiz after the Seminars. Those who have got high marks will be rewarded with eco-tour.
(Eco-tours include Glass-Bottomed Boat Trip in Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park, Mai Po Nature Reserve Area and Wetland Park)
