環境局局長歡迎辭
Welcome Message from the Secretary for the Environment
環境局於7月1日正式成立。環境保護是第三屆香港特別行政區政府的重要政策範疇。在公布新政府主要官員名單的記者會上，我承諾會為香港市民做好改善環境的工作。我將繼續依賴局內及相關部門公務員同事的專業及幹勁，協助落實行政長官在環境保護的施政綱領。我和同事會不遺餘力走向羣眾，聆聽你們對香港環境政策的意見。
Environment Bureau was officially established on July 1. Environmental protection is a major policy area for the third term of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. At the press conference on the announcement of Principal Officials for the new term of government, I have pledged to lead the work in enhancing the living environment for the Hong Kong people. I will continue to count on the diligence and professionalism of my civil service colleagues in the Bureau and the relevant departments to help implement the environmental policy agenda laid out by the Chief Executive. My colleagues and I will spare no efforts in reaching out to the community to hear what you want in shaping Hong Kong's environmental policy. |
