EPD attended the Open Ended Working Group Meeting of the Basel Convention to Push for Early Implementation of the Basel Ban Amendment

In support of the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA), the EPD attended the Open Ended Working Group Meeting (OEWGM6) of the international Basel Convention at Geneva in early September to discuss the issue of bringing into force the Ban Amendment to the Basel Convention with a view to tightening transboundary movements of hazardous wastes.
