Disneyland
environmental impact assessment reports exhibited
The environmental
impact assessment (EIA) reports for the Hong Kong Disneyland
Theme Park and Northshore Lantau Development are being exhibited
according to the EIA Ordinance for the public to comment between
March 13 and April 11.
A spokesman
for the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) said today
(March 13) that the two EIA reports are available for viewing
at the following locations:

The Executive
Summaries and the full EIA reports have been uploaded onto
the EIA Ordinance website at http://www.info.gov.hk/epd/eia
on March 13.
"Members
of the public can send their written comments on the two EIA
reports to the Director of Environmental Protection during
the public inspection period via the EIA Ordinance Register
Office on 27th floor, Southorn Centre or by fax to 2147 0894,"
the spokesman said.
The two
EIA reports will be presented to the Advisory Council on the
Environment (ACE) in April for discussion.
"The
Director of Environmental Protection will consider all comments
submitted to him during the public inspection period and the
views of the ACE before making a final decision on the two
reports," the spokesman noted.
