Sewerage for Pak Shek Kok Development gazetted
A proposal
to build a public sewerage system to serve the Pak Shek Kok
Development Area was published in the Government Gazette today
(October 26).
A spokesman
for the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) said: "The
works will be carried out by the Territory Development Department
at the proposed road network of the Pak Shek Kok Development.
"Sewers
of a total length of 1 500 metres will be constructed.
"The
construction is scheduled to start in mid-2003 for completion
at the end of 2006."
Details
of the proposal, in both English and Chinese, have been posted
on the notice boards near the site of the proposed sewerage
works for public inspection.
