Public
sewerage for Sha Tin
The Environmental
Protection Department published in the Government Gazette
today (Friday) a plan to construct a public sewerage system
to serve the housing development in Sha Tin.
The works
will be carried out by the Territory Development Department
along Heung Fan Liu Street, Mei Tin Road, the estate road
inside Mei Lam Estate, Tai Po Road (Tai Wai), Shing Ho Road
and Shing Mun River, and are scheduled to start in early 2000
for completion in early 2001.
Details
of the plan, in both English and Chinese, have been posted
on the notice boards near the site of the proposed sewerage
works for public inspection.
