Victims'
families offered assistance
The Environmental
Protection Department (EPD) and a number of other government
departments today (Friday) met with the family members of
the five traffic accident victims offering assistance to them.
At the meeting, the Director of Environmental Protection,
Mr Rob Law, expressed his sincere condolence and deepest sympathy
to the family members.
Representatives
from EPD, Civil Service Bureau, Labour Department, Social
Welfare Department and Legal Aid Department explained to the
family members the compensation, financial and welfare assistance
that are available to them.
The departments
also undertook to follow up the special needs of each of the
families.
