TAP
Sampling
The
following equipment for the sampling of TAPs,
was provided and installed, and acceptance and
commissioning tests conducted:

two
programmable canister samplers;

two
Hi-Volume samplers;
-
ten
SUMMA passivated stainless steel canisters;
and
-
one
automated carbonyl sampler.
The
above listed equipment were complied with the
specifications detailed in Annex
A.
All
outdoor TAP sampling equipment were capable of
operation under the following conditions:
-
altitude
above sea level: 10 - 100 m
-
maximum
ambient temperature: 45oC
-
minimum
ambient temperature: -5oC
-
maximum
relative humidity: 100%
-
maximum
typhoon wind speed: 260 km/hour
-
tropical
rainfall, thunderstorms, typhoons and salt-spray
pollution during a typhoon
All
indoor TAP sampling equipment were capable of
operating under the following conditions:

maximum
ambient temperature 35oC
-
minimum
ambient temperature 15oC
-
maximum
relative humidity 95%
Ancillary
Equipment
The
following ancillary equipment were applied for
the operation and maintenance of the TAP sampling
equipment:

one
air sampling system;
-
one
equipment rack;
-
one
set of mass flow meters;
-
one
set of electronic bubble flow meters;
-
one
mercury column barometer for measuring barometric
pressure;
-
one
temperature recorder for measuring and recording
the temperature inside the equipment shelter;
-
one
multimeter;
-
one
sampling module of Hi-Volume sampler;
-
one
calibration kit for Hi-Volume sampler;
-
one
tool kit; and
-
consumables
and spare parts.
The
above listed ancillary equipment were in accordance
with the EPD Tender Document PT/212/96 and complied
with the specifications detailed in Annex
A.
