This
survey has provided considerable information on roadside
TAP levels which help to fill the information gaps in
the existing database. However, based on the limited
data available, extreme meteorological conditions such
as strong wind and rainy days might affect the data
collected. It is recommended that similar studies in
the future should increase the sampling frequency for
collecting PAHs and Carbonyls samples, and more species
for PAHs and particulate matter should be monitored
at the same time. In addition, more meteorological parameters
such as wind speed and wind direction should be determined.
Moreover, increased sampling size and a longer-term
monitoring programme will provide more comprehensive
data from future studies.
