The format of the Final Report is as follows:

• Section 1 provides a background to the Study including objectives, a summary of existing information along with a discussion of the relevance of the topic to sustainability considerations;

• Section 2 provides the detailed sediment quality monitoring methodology including frequency and time of sampling, location of sampling stations, parameters analysed, resulting data;

• Section 3 provides the detailed sampling methodology for recording contaminants in marine biota, including trawling methods, location of sampling sites, species composition and abundance and resulting data;

• Section 4 provides a review of the four organic contaminants of concern relating to Hong Kong coastal waters, human health and existing levels from this Baseline Study; and,

• Section 5 provides a summary of the Study findings.

Annex A comprises the raw data obtained for the sediment and biota analysis conducted for the SUSDEV 21 Toxics in Marine Sediments and Biota baseline surveys. Annex B presents the coordinates of the stations that were sampled during the surveys.
