「粵港合作框架協議」 - 環境保護和生態保育
Framework Agreement on Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation - Environmental Protection and Ecology Conservation
政府在2010年5月24日向立法會環境事務委員會簡介「粵港合作框架協議」內環境保護和生態保育的具體內容。「粵港合作框架協議」由行政長官與廣東省省長黃華華於今年4月7日簽署。
On 24 May 2010, the Government informed the Panel on Environmental Affairs of the Legislative Council the co-operation areas on environmental protection and ecology conservation that have been included under the Framework Agreement on Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation, which was signed on 7 April 2010 between the Chief Executive and the Governor of Guangdong Province.

政府就嚴重空氣污染事故包括沙塵暴影響的應對措施
Measures in Addressing Serious Air Pollution Incidents Including Impacts of Sandstorms
2010 年3 月21 日至23 日本港受華北沙塵影響，導致空氣污染指數升至嚴重級別。因應這次前所未見的事故，政府已檢討相關政策局及部門的應對機制，並同意按需要強化有關公眾通報、協調及紓緩措施。環保署已於2010年5月11日向立法會環境事務委員會轄下的改善空氣質素小組委員會匯報了檢討的初步結果。
Hong Kong was affected by an incident of dust plume originated from northern China during 21 to 23 March 2010, which caused the air pollution index to reach the "Severe" level. In the wake of this unprecedented incident, the Government has reviewed the response system amongst the concerned bureaux and departments and agreed on necessary enhanced measures on public communication, co-ordination and mitigation. On 11 May 2010, the EPD reported the initial outcome of the review to the Subcommittee on Improving Air Quality of the Panel on Environment Affairs of the Legislative Council.
