Food Waste
The restaurant trade generates a substantial amount of food waste every day. If the food waste is collected and treated, such as by composting, it will help reduce the waste disposal and contribute to environmental protection and also turn this food waste into useful organic fertilizers.
Restaurants may make reference to the EPD's Non-Exhaustive List of Local Suppliers of Electric Composters to join the team of reducing food waste.
