Working Principle
Working Principle

Acoustic balcony with solid parapets and absorptive material on the ceiling has been adopted for noise reduction long time but it can only offer noise reduction of 2 to 3 dB(A) at most. To achieve a more substantial noise reduction, enhanced acoustic balcony was developed with addition of a number of noise reduction features including full-height wall at the side of the balcony, inclined screening panel projecting out from the top of the front parapet, and vertical screening panel above the front parapet in front of the balcony door.
