Under
a Supplementary Agreement to the Study of Sustainable
Development for the 21st Century (SUSDEV 21), the Planning
Department (PlanD) have commissioned ERM-Hong Kong,
Ltd (ERM) in June 1998 to undertake an additional environmental
baseline survey for non-transport related noise pollution.
This
is the Final Report prepared for the Environmental Study
Management Group (ESMG), covering description of the
methodology and findings of the baseline survey. Information
on analysis of the noise measurements and establishment
of the population exposure pattern in relation to each
targeted noise source will be presented in this report.
The
Structure of this report is outlined as follow:
