“We were very honoured to receive the Gold Award in the Competition on Source Separation of Domestic Waste 2007/08. Our headquarters supported us to organize activities that promoted residents’ awareness of waste recycling, and we were able to enlist full support and active participation from our colleagues, residents, and shop tenants. The types of recyclables we collect have been broadened to include things like rechargeable batteries and florescent lamps. We hope we can continue to increase the quantities and types of recyclables collected from our estate.”

3-coloured waste separation bins have been placed at the entrance lift lobby of each block to collect an expanded range of recyclables.
  
The estate collects such items as used clothing, rechargeable batteries and CDs, in addition to waste plastic, paper and metals, to enhance waste recovery.
