“At Cavendish Heights, we practice door-to-door collection of recyclables because we don’t have enough space on each floor for waste separation facilities. We’ve also set up waste separation bins in car parks to collect waste paper, metals, plastics, used clothing and electrical appliances. We understand that the support and participation of our Incorporated Owners and residents are essential to successful recycling efforts, so we also organize periodic campaigns to promote waste separation. The results have been encouraging. We collect more than 23 kg per household per month on average and we received a Gold Award in the Source Separation of Domestic Waste Competition 2007/08.”
